my site is new and I am trying to get some one way backlinks from now after reading this post. I accidently came over to your blog and it seems that I am glad it happened. Is the PR for the sites valid now??? An imp question to you Doug, how to submit to search engines?

Doug Champigny replies... Yes, backlinks still help your ranking, especially if they're from related sites and those sites have a good PR ranking themselves. I never submit to search engines - there's no need to. With one blog post on one of our busier blogs, or one comment on someione else's, the search engines follow our link back to our material and index the page. There's talk that the search engines rank a page better they find through links than those submitted to them, but I have no way of verifying if that's true or not. I do know that our newest site, Advanced Twitter Marketing was spidered and in Google within 24 hours of going live online, thanks solely to posting about it on 4 or 5 of our blogs. Very informative article. I have seen you appreciate article marketing and blog commenting. Agree with you regarding the benefit. Why do you not pay any attention of forum signatures.

I had a site where I promote it for 10.15 million competitive keywords only using forum signatures. I find it very effective. One major advantage is referral traffic getting from signatures.

blog commenting is agood way to get backlinks. you can generate traffic with blog commenting everyday if you want.

you can find do follow with a software but do not attack with a huge comment like spamm. you can find the do follow and use it by comment with manual not direct in the software that you use.. this is for a long term backlinks.
